A carton is a box or container usually made of paperboard and sometimes of corrugated fiberboard. Many types of cartons are used in packaging. They are used in the packaging of several products, such as electronics, food, bakery items, confectionery, cosmetics, toys, cigarettes, and many others. Improvements to the manufacturing of carton boxes have ensured that they don’t always need to be in a cube shape. One side could be left open, tucked in, or one end can be used to lock the material together. Window can also be added to the material in place of the cardboard, giving potential buyers a preview of the product. For product marketing purposes, customers are more likely to buy when they know what is inside the box.
